Charcoal Steel is a grey charcoal patina that allows a raw steel color to show through. This finish is the perfect alternative to a darker black patina, like The Foxtail Oven Hood shows.

All surfaces use an acrylic urethane or a wax/oil clear coat to seal. This finish on mild steel can be used for both interior and exterior applications however this finish can rust in wet environments even with our suggested sealers. We suggest using this finish in dry environments.
